Buttermilk Biscuits:
I don't know about you, but I could live on biscuits. My favorite type, though, is buttermilk biscuits. They always turn out, whether or not you substitute any of the following ingredients with gluten-free or dairy free ingredients. These biscuits are the basis of any meal and highly versatile.
Zucchini Muffins:
Have you ever searched for the perfect breakfast? Well, call the search party off and look no more. This is the recipe for you. Do it. Make it. Don't share. Okay you can share. These muffins are so delicious and moist that they should, like, go down in delicious, moist muffin history, or something.
Homemade Poptarts:
Regular pop tarts are so unhealthy. Its empty sugar and starch snuck in under the disguise of healthy because its sugary inside may have a fruit base. They're bad in the sense that they will not give you enough vitamins and minerals to thrive on, but not bad in that they will poison you. Although I suppose if they were your sole source of nutrition, that would be bad because you would not be getting adequate nutrition. Its all in how you look at it.
Homemade Granola Cereal:
This is the best granola out there. It is super delicious and easy to make. Anything you could add into trail mix, you could add in here. After trying a few different granola recipes that didn't deliver, I've settled on this one. Funny enough, I searched all over the Internet for a copycat recipe of Honey Bunches of Oats and came back empty handed.
Delightful Pancakes:
Oh dear! It's finally here! But only because I've found it. And I made it(oops). But they were soooo good. You wanna know how long it's been since I've had a hot, steamy, light, fluffy, sinful stack of pancakes sitting smack dab in the middle of the table?
Summer Macaroni Salad with Lemon-Thyme Dressing:
I must say...lemon has a very interesting flavor. Especially when paired with mayonnaise, thyme, peas, and spinach. Creamy lemon noodles? I know you think I'm crazy. I'm not. I promise. I was honestly resistant once I dipped my finger in the dressing. I was really thinking it was going to be gross.
Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins:
I woke up this morning feeling the urge to make breakfast something special. I didn't necessarily want to make scrambled eggs, nor did I want to just pour cereal in a bowl and drown it with animal cholesterol. So I said "You know what. I'm just gonna make muffins!".
Pasta Salad:
Everywhere I search, the same recipe and variations pop up. Pasta salad is different to my family than it is to other families. Other people share their recipes with me, but it's never the same. But I'm sure you'll fall in in love with this recipe. It has served my family well for over four years. Made with inexpensive ingredients, this recipe is sure to be a hit.
How to Grow a Bean Plant From Dry Beans:
Every now and again, we plant new things in our garden. But have you ever tried to grow beans before? Did you know that it is possible to actually grow a bean plant from the bagged dry beans you get from the grocery store? Well, you can and it's easier than you think. At my local Walmart, dry red beans in a 1 pound bag costs $1.69 and you can imagine how many bean plants you can grow from that many seeds.
Whole Wheat 30 Minute Rolls:
Thirty minute rolls are something that goes with practically anything from spaghetti to soup to grilled chicken. They can also be eaten as a snack, for those early mornings, and even for dessert. These keep so well in the refrigerator that sometimes I make a double or triple batch to save for other meals, still only taking me 30 minutes.
So, when I started this blog, it was sort of something I was inspired to
do. I had loads of fun looking at other blogs, flipping through their
content, and looking at their outlines and philosophies! Not only was I
inspired, I was in love with blogs. But there was always a couple of
things I never knew: one was how to make the print recipe button.
I hope you visual learners find this helpful!!
